Russell Says Hello
Russell is my dog who has pretty much gone everywhere I have gone. He pesters me to go to the beach all the time and he enjoys going on some of the home visits I make when I go and work on others' computers.
At home he is gentle and somewhat lazy. He sleeps a good part of his day and is a terrible watch dog. But when he goes to the beach he switches into hunting mode and spends most his time swimming or running up and down the beach and he will do this for hours. He also barks a lot on the beach to attract the seagulls. At home, he is allowed to bark only once to let me know to open the door to allow him inside.
Visitors to my home hostel fall in love with him instantly, especially those people traveling who have left their pets at home. Russell interacts with visitors in a quiet way - usually by flattening himself on the floor and watching the events going around him.
